I was thinking of Putin discussing sovereignty in terms opposed to the headlong journey into globalist power over all, and of NATO to keep the peace of members only. Another LOL. 130 BILLION US taxpayers money and now this:
🇺🇸 Union of Auto Workers (UAW) officially begins strike with 12,700 workers at three plants.
This includes workers at Ford, General Motors, and Stellantis.
The strike could impact as many as 146,000 workers by next week.
What does this mean?
46% of US auto production is set to go offline as a result of the UAW strike.
We have $90+ oil prices and a potential large jump in car prices.
Another curveball for the Fed.
According to Bloomberg, a 10-day UAW strike would reduce US GDP by $5.6 billion.
The auto industry accounts for 3% of US GDP.
A strike longer than a few days would send many midwest states into a recession.

With government accounting for north of 40% “GDP” and more that 1/2 of the remainder being mainly “froth of financialism” the auto industry economy wise is kind of a “meh”. The factories aren’t going to be torn down if there’s a deflationary collapse, so come what may…
