Does anyone know what thread holds the record on FR for “longest running” or “most posts?” I’m wondering if our thread is getting close to setting a FR record...

LONGEST INDIVIDUAL THREAD = 65,535 posts as an artifact of the "Spawn of the Undead Thread" (keyword "undeadthread") and database limit. These merry Freepers apparently started in 2004 peacefully hijacking ZOT threads and continuing on for about a month "in Festival" until they would then move and inhabit the end of another Zot thread or a thread about something silly. Perhaps some here are on that ping list

They seem to still be operating under the "undeadthread" keyword as of this July, but at a more modest post volume. I became aware of them when they latched on to my 2,000,000 posts thread in 2008:

Notice the lengthy list of keywords on that long zot thread. The thread I believe might have the most keywords is this other zot =
Communism and human nature (Bolshie Mod sez, Arise ye kittens of the earth!)
But maybe somebody knows of a longer keyword list elsewhere.

Someday, maybe all our hopes and dreams will come true and maybe Ransom will say we no longer need this thread. That would be bittersweet, but, oh, what a happy day!
