I am wondering: How would the dollars be identified as bogus, and distinguishable from “real” dollars (which are all fake fiat anyway)?

Banks, casinos, retailers, etc., already validate real from counterfeit bills they receive.

In the video at the Twitter link, you'll see Syrian customs agents identifying US $100 and $50 bills as counterfeit; money the mercenaries received from the Ukrainian government for fighting for Ukraine.
