That made missing the brake pedal and changing the station, instead, a bit of an adventure. My first pickup was a 63 Jimmy which was one of the first factory vehicles to have a transistor radio. My buds were impressed when the radio came on before the engine started.

maybe my mind is shot...I thought there were 2 floor buttons, one for brights and one for radio. I’ll have to ask my uncle...it was his car.
