that is a riot...sounds like a lot of trial and error...
i had a sonata where my left headlight would sporadically go out. I would open and close the hood and it would go back on. (Turns out a connection semi-melted and everything smelled like fish).
I am a Bears fan, wearing a Bears hat, and I was in Packer territory. A cop stopped me for having one headlight. It wasn’t even dusk. Banged on the fender and the light went on.
I had an old Fox by Audi starter go haywire. I had to park on an incline(after backing it in)so I could get the car rolling, to pop the clutch to get it started.
Tough luck with that fish-smelling hood. That started happening when the electric auto wire makers started using soy based insulation instead of the old petroleum insulation. Not only does it stink when hot but the rats love it too. I keep rat poison under the hoods of my later model trucks.
