I have already covered most of today's items so I will not rehash them. If anyone has questions I will endeavor to answer them.
Item One:
Chinese stocks continue to under-perform expectations as foreign capital continues its exodus from the PRC. It is estimated that $50B US of capital exited the PRC in August alone. There was an additional $12B US of stock traded on the Shanghai and Hong Kong stock exchanges was sold by foreign investors.
Item Two:
The CCP continues to push its "anti-spying" initiative. The irony and hypocrisy is absolutely lost on the CCP. This is pure deflection from the unrelenting stream of bad news.
Item Three:
Off-balance sheet or 'hidden' debt continues to grow as the lack of land sales stresses local governments. As of 2022 local governments had to pay out about 19% of their budgets in interest. It has only gotten worse.
Item Four:
There is a growing plague of "three-chambered ants" in China. They are not ants but are a type of "rove beetle". This particular beetle is endemic to east Asia. No worries for us. We have our own varieties but not as bad. 
Their bodily fluid contains a very strong blister agent. This irritant, pederin, is highly toxic, more potent than cobra venom. Problems occur when the beetle is agitated or crushed against the skin. The blister agent can spread if an affected area comes in contact with other skin. It is supposed to be very painful and slow to heal.
Item Five:
The PRC marriage rate has halved in the past ten years while the divorce rate has risen slowly but continuously. Due to the demographic imbalance caused by the "One-child Policy" and the historically great Chinese preference for sons has left about 35 million more young men than women. This means that the women can afford to be VERY choosy and make income demands that otherwise good marriage prospects can't meet.
This will only steepen the already precipitous demographic decline. A sign that the CCP recognizes the problem they are in is that they a pressuring military men to marry and have all the children they can. Unless the young men have family ties into the CCP most young women aren't interested.
