In my opinion student loans should be made eligible for discharge in bankruptcy court a certain number of years(12?) after leaving school.

Why? Are you some eff’n irresponsible dead beat. It’s people like you that don’t have a damn ethic to pay their own debts and see no problem with others paying it for you.
