You utterly miss the point. If you believe that UFOs are extra-terrestrial vistors, we are done here. You are a nut case. If, however, you believe as I do that it is a combination of hoaxes, nut cases and the government trying to maintain cover for top secret projects as I do then there is a basis for a rational discussion. Part of the problem is that if you are trying to maintain cover for somethings you have to treat the nutcases and hoaxes the same way as the real stuff -and that is how it all becomes insane. Because once you make it clear that these 200 things are hoaxes and nutcases and these five things we will shoot you if you ask about you have told everyone where to go look.
So you get everyone investigating the hoaxes and the conspiracies about covering up the hoaxes and no one gets near the real stuff because they are so busy on the conspiracy to cover up a hoax that it all goes nowhere.

Here's what I know for a fact.
We don't yet know what we are dealing with.
If you have convinced yourself that you have the answer, you are rushing to judgment based on speculation...perhaps because of a preconceived or wishful bias.

BTW, calling other people “nut cases” (i.e., getting personal), reflects more on you than other people. And it is not a good reflection (looks petty).
