If Luhan’s stunt was a trial balloon for the use of emergency powers to suspend civil liberties, it blew up in her fat face. Everyone could see how absurd and futile the gambit was. Moreover it highlighted how Democrat soft on crime and hard on cops policies are the real cause of the crime wave.
I wish the follow up question was: "So this is all just a political bullshit stunt, then, no?"
There is no "IF" about it.
Democrats in other states and at the national level are paying close attention to this episode. They will attempt variations of this elsewhere with better preparations.
That is why Luhan must be removed from office.
