This isn't pre-WWII by any stretch. The details of the ascendance of Nazi Germany and its drive for "Lebensraum" and for the elimination of "International Jewry," are utterly incongruent with Russia's invasion of and war with Ukraine, a nation it has been beefing with, back and forth over this and that, for centuries.

A supposedly well read, learned person ought to know that.

I'm really sick of the constant, stupid, "equalizing" comparisons made by you Youcrayniacs between modern day Russia's aspirations and Nazi Germany's. I'm even more tired of the glowing but idiotic and shameful comparisons some of you make between the gay-dancing, grifting dirtbag Zelenskyyyyy and Churchill. Again, there are no serious comparisons between the two - any attempts at that are insulting to Churchill's WWII legacy.

I understand that crz dislikes Churchill. It seems that it was a bad thing to imprison nazis. Maybe you can work it out with him.

Churchill is a good analogue for Zelensky. At the decision point of the crisis, they kept it together. Britain came within an inch of making a deal. If Halifax had been called on to lead the coalition instead, he may have done it.

As for Ukraine, consider Poland in 1939. Also a nation that Germany (and Russia) had been “beefing with” for centuries.
