Dropped in my in-box. An ad for an investment magazine. Claim's pretty amazing, if true.

Whenever I hear “massive capacity and charges in *minutes*” - it should always give you pause...because they’re implying they can dump a massive amount of power from the grid en-mass into lots of vehicles. Even ONE vehicle is a problem. It’s a lot of Watts and there’s a thing called ‘resistance’ in cabling. The grid would melt, probably including the cable plugged into your car.

Mr. Fusion does not exist....
The energy density to move anything like this in battery form would be massive. And then to transfer said energy in “minutes” would be explosive. Don’t have my formulae in front of me but we won’t be seeing this anytime soon.

North Coast to Atlantic Coast maybe, or Gulf Coast to Atlantic Coast.

When they describe how fast this thing is supposed to charge it is just absurd on its face. You're going to push how much voltage through a charger in a matter of "minutes". I sure as hell wouldn't be fool enough to stand anywhere near something like that.

What’s the catch? Don’t drive over 30mph? Don’t drive more than 30 minutes at a time?

1000 miles on a charge means you’d still have to charge 3 or 4 times to go coast to coast.

1000 miles per charge? Its more than 2000 miles, closer to 3000 miles coast to coast. Yet they say just one stopto charge?

The Headline is A LIE
They left out the initial charge, which means in reality it's TWO CHARGES to get from coast-to-coast.
If they had written "Can Drive Coast To Coast On A Single Additional Charge" instead, it might have been true (time will tell).
But the headline as published IS A LIE.
