.......the impeachment inquiry was obviously on Biden’s mind when he spoke to a small group of well-heeled supporters, there to donate to his re-election campaign, at the home of David Frederick and Sophie Lynn.
It was Biden’s first public acknowledgment he faces the possibility of being convicted and removed from office. His most extensive comments to date came behind-closed doors. No TV cameras or photographers were allowed inside the fundraiser, only a small group of print reporters.
What could Biden possibly say to get his hands on that money, that would make them write those big fat checks he so desperately needs?
‘Well, I tell you what, I don’t know quite why, but they just knew they wanted to impeach me. And now, the best I can tell, they want to impeach me because they want to shut down the government,’ he said.
