One of my favorites from “The White Trash Cookbook” was bacon sandwiches. The difference is you fry the bacon, put it between slices of white bread (no butter or ketchup) and then fry the bread in the bacon grease.
After eating, use a knife or whatever is laying around to scrape your arteries clean.
The body needs fat/oils. Animal fats from a portion of meat are fine. Look at the vegetarians/vegans, their skin is horribly dry and wrinkled.
I am not talking guzzling a quart of animal fat. Just whats in a meal portion. You need a certain amount of healthy fat.
Beef tallow is healthier than frying it in any hydrogenated vegetable “oil”. Far better for you than corn oil, soybean oil, canola oil, cottonseed oil, sunflower oil,...

I tend to use mayonnaise instead of butter. Would not use ketchup on it.then again I will have SPAM, eggs with sirachi, kimchi, and rice for breakfast and loved cold C rations Chopped eggs and ham.
