Everybody needs a little cancer I think. It’s good for you. Keeps you on you’re toes.

Besides, I ain’t afraid of cancer...I had broccoli for lunch. Broccoli kills cancer. A lot of people don’t know that, it’s not out yet. It’s true. You find out you got some cancer...get yourself a bowl of broccoli. That’ll wipe it right out in a day or two.

Cauliflower too. Cauliflower kills the really big cancers. The ones you can see through clothing from across the street.

Broccoli kills the little ones. The ones that are slowly eating your way from inside...while your goofy, half- educated doctor keeps telling you, “your doing fine Jim.”

In fact bring your doctor a bowl of broccoli. He’s probably got cancer too. Probably picked it up from you. They don’t know what they’re doing, it’s all guesswork in a white coat. Here, let me have a few more sips of industrial waste. Ahh, maybe...maybe I can turn them cancers against one another.

That’s what you gotta hope for you know, that you get more than one cancer so they eat each other up instead of you. In fact, the way I look at it, the more cancer you got, the healthier you are.

I’m enjoying NY steak with potato salad and a bottle of Mission Cab from Fall Creek Vineyards in Driftwood TX. If my wife isn’t home in 10 minutes. She’s SOL on the wine. It’s a commemorative Cabernet honoring the heroes of the Alamo. The grapes are grown on land once owned by COL William Travis.

Driftwood is special: a town of 300 that hosts several vineyards and several awesome restaurants, to include Salt Lick BBQ. It’s about 30 miles East of Austin.

Helicobacter Pylori Can Be Defeated With Broccoli Sprouts And Thus Preventing Stomach Cancer (click here)

The sulponaphane from digestion of raw broccoli poisons the h. pylori which imbed themselves in the stomach lining and cause continuous irritation to produce hydrochloric acid that results in sores, upset stomach, gastric reflux, peptic ulcers, and finally cancer.

So eating enough broccoli removes the cause of cancer.

But secondarily, taking Ranitidine also does block the acid production and thus prevents ulceration and allows the existing ones to heal, but does not remove the bacterial infection. Unfortunately the pills of that drug (trade name Zantac") had to be taken on and on, never ceasing, so what a great cash cow for the Big Pharma industry that manufactured drug substance was! Multi-billion!

The trouble was that, as marketed, the pills also contained N-nitrosodimethylamine (click here), a carcinogen which was confirmed in a nationwide population study, and thus had to be withdrawn from the market. Of course, back in the 1990s it was found that the h. pylori could also be eliminated in a couple of weeks by taking "Pepto-Bismuth" together with amoxycillin, commonly available but not usually combined, a solution that remained undiscovered for decades. But look! Couldn't a periodic consumption of broccoli eliminate that approach to avoidance of ulcers as well?

(What do gastroenterologists do for a living these says, eh?)

Well... he didn’t die of cancer, I’ll have to give him that.
