First of all, shingles is not contagious. And if the CDC recommends it, I'm not getting it. I have a very robust immune system and I'm not going to screw it up by getting vaccinations that cause more problems than they solve.
Wow. I hope you never get the hideous disease. Some live with pain for life from it.
My 2 brothers got the first shingles shot (2-shot series). They did not go back for shot #2 because the first one was so rough (ill after the shot). Dr. McCullough said the shingles shot was the worst he’s ever gotten.
Shingles happens when your immune system is low. Shingles is also an adverse effect from the COVID shots, which crushes your immune system. A cousin has had repeat shingles (3 times at least) since she’s been getting the COVID shots/boosters. More than a few other friends & relatives have all gotten shingles after getting the COVID shots/boosters. Avoid the MRNA shots, keep your immune system high (Vit D, Vit C, other nutraceuticals, real food, fresh air, etc.) and you are much less likely to get shingles.
