Thanks for the accurate info about the Wyoming. It appears that I am misinformed about which US Navy ship fired the fatal missile.
The eyewitness testimony of seeing a missile hit the plane is solid. And there is plenty of other anecdotal evidence, like this comment on another article:
“I was an airline pilot who had an FAA inspector on my jumpseat who knew the lead TWA investigator at Calverton, looking at the recovered wreckage. He confirmed in no uncertain terms that the investigative team identified the exact impact area of the 747 lower skin and the metal was bent inwards which resulted from hard contact by a missile.. This piece of wreckage was blown apart by the subsequent tank explosion. When they were examining the critical piece, it triggered the interest of the FBI investigators in the hangar, who were the only ones with keys to the hangar. The next morning, the critical tell-tale piece of wreckage was missing from the reconstruction. The only ones who could have taken it were the FBI agents with keys to the hangar. The FBI was desperate to save Clinton’s election chances. Sounds a lot like the Hunter Biden laptop coverup in 2020 doesn’t it?”
And there’s this supposedly eyewitness whistleblower account: https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2022/08/the_twa_800_whistleblower_is_legit.html
The article is indefinite on which US Navy ship fired the missile, but suggests it may have been the cruiser Leyte Gulf.
None of the Navy ships fired the missile. It was rogue Iranian mercenaries in a boat that fired the missile.
And I wish I could tell people how I know this.
I doubt that 300 sailors on a Cruiser could be kept quiet for this long. If a missile was fired from that ship, every sailor on that ship would know about it.
