Eastman is facing a communist kangaroo court in California.
The latest morphed action against President Trump and his allies -- the prosecutions and trials by far-left Democrat-donating radicals, following the Russia hoax, and the multiple failed impeachments, pretty well leaves many of us questioning whether the U.S. is still a "democracy."
Crazed leftwing dictators throw their opponents in jail. Democracies don't, or so it seemed. Mark Steyn, in a must-read, has called this shift "the new normal" and never until now has this darkened America's doors. The rot through the justice system is so extensive it now extends to arresting the President of the United States -- and his defense team, too.
Probably the most nakedly anti-democratic of these acts on this front is in the prosecution of President Trump's lawyer, John Eastman, the foremost constitutional scholar in the country and the dean of a Southern California law school.
He's gotten not one, but two trials, the first of which is for his law license in the special court for that set up by the wokester State Bar of California. I've watched that court for years -- the kind of cases they usually take are of lawyers who abandon their clients or run off with their money. They don't get guys like John Eastman, at least, until now.
Already this court in its new and totalitarian use isn't giving Eastman a fair trial. They've already reached their conclusions.

Occasionally there is a RICO case here in the U.S. against mob lawyers engaged in the exact same activity as their clients. In Fulton County, they've claimed that Trump questioning the election results and seeing if there is any legal redress is now a RICO case, too. The State Bar of California doesn't even get that subtle. Defend Trump, lose your law license.
Face it, a lot of CONSERVATIVES think it’s disgusting that mass murderers of children are allowed defense attorneys, particularly when it’s obvious that the person was the killer.
But I guess the difference is that we (at least me) hold our noses at the sight but accept it, reminding ourselves that literally EVERYONE facing criminal charges has a right to counsel.
I guess, perhaps, that’s one of the many things that separate us from Democrats.

Tragically, FR's primary demographic has become old and is dying off, and FR itself is besieged by trolls from every part of the political spectrum.

The “trial” is astonishing. The “judge” - black nationalist radical Yvette Roland - clearly learned everything she knows from the Soviet show trials. She is a vile, spiteful homunculus of hate, running a biased, skewed hatefest sponsored by the hissing snakes of Sacramento.
Don’t know what appeals there are. Assume it’s the State Supreme court, which would only be moderately better here. At least more sensitive to publicity then the Bar “court”.
But Eastman has brought in the evidence from Wisconsin, and that’s going to be hard to dismiss so cavalierly. But of course they’ll try.
This one is a real nightmare. Eastman is the best we have.
The U.S. now has a two-tiered justice system.
The head of the Proud Boys - who wasn’t even in DC on Jan. 6th was just sentenced to 22 years in prison.
Yet violent rioters and looters who burned down American cities and threw molotov cocktails are police were let go, not charged by local DAs.
The corrupt DOJ and FBI have done everything they can to cover up, excuse and justify the obvious crimes of the Biden family.
And cowardly Republican politicians say nothing.
