I live in the oldest city in America.
It was established by Ponce De Leon the Spaniard.
This is tourist beach town on Atlantic coast of Florida.
People are moving here in droves from high tax states like NJ, NY, CT etc. House prices have gone up a lot so I feel lucky we bought this new construction house in 2019.
Florida is generous for seniors. We get $50k reduction in assessed value, no state death tax in Florida, no state income tax and property tax is mild. Every restaurant has senior discounts.
