The explosions are vapor cloud explosions. The diesel got released and dispersed. Then it ignited. Somewhere in the report they give the TNT equivalent of the explosions.
The VCE took out the external supports of the tower. For most of the length on each side and about seven floors high. We cannot see the damage to the internal supports from the explosions. The external supports were installed in large pieces. We can see where these entire pieces got blown out. That was the fatal weakness of this building design.
And Brandon won't be in New York, DC, or PA to remember the dead, he will be in Alaska.
I was building a house for an NYPD Bomb Squad member at the time. He went and worked the pile. I got a lot of gruesome stories told to me which I will not repeat.
