Good for her!
Does she love America? If she does, I am happy for her.
Does everyone know she’s Black and if something goes wrong around her it’s because of racism?!
It’s true!
bkmk
Coco played an amazing game and was very impressive during the trophy presentation ceremony. She was very humble and expressed her gratitude to so many: her parents, her team, the people who put on the tournament, the fans in New York ….
All this after kneeling in prayer. She was asked about her faith. She said that she did not pray for an outcome but for the strength to do her best (paraphrasing). I am not generally a tennis fan but I am now a Coco fan.
Quite a level headed, mature lady for her young age, this despite her previous semifinal game being interrupted for nearly an hour by climate change activists.
She's a believer in global warming and supports the global protests just as long as they don't interfere with the tennis tournaments.......
And her opponent, taking a “medical break” very near the end of the match. This is the first tennis match that I have watched, so I do not know if that kind of a break is common, but it certainly must effect one’s concentration.
I watched the match for 30sec. When they showed spike Lee in the crowd rooting for her I immediately started rooting against her
I’ve been holed up in the hospital for seven days recovering from severe peritonitis. Championship tennis is the perfect thing to watch. It was very emotional to see her win. And I’m not a big tennis fan.
BTW, I’m being discharged on Monday.
Have you tried goggling rules of tennis?
She seems to be a beautiful young lady through and through and kudos to her for such an incredible achievement at such a young age.
Go Coco!
There are very few 19 year olds who do not believe in global warming.... I blame us, not them.
Our kids have been indoctrinated since they were toddlers by the left.
Overall, this young lady seems to have her head screwed on straight from what I can tell and she represented herself with class and a humble spirit. Hope she stays like that.
She does - was thrilled to win her first Grand Slam in her home country & said as much.
She’s humble & grateful & I hope she can stay that way.
BTW, I’m being discharged on Monday.
........
Which Monday, have a nice recovery
Coco lost me during the 2020 BLM riots, this young twit wore her BLM mask, got on a stage and screamed “I DEMAND CHANGE” (seventeen at the time). She proudly announced she will use her platform to speak out against social injustice. This girl has been coddled and given special privileges from the USTA for years. When she turned eighteen, she received a gift and letter from Michelle Obama, which she read during an interview, in fact I just looked at a picture of her and parents posing with the Obamas. The other night after the climate protest she proudly stated she is 100% behind climate change and couldn’t fault the protesters. (Would love to ask her how she is going to travel to tournaments around the world, a jet would be hypocritical, so I suppose she will walk or swim).
Good luck on a speedy recovery!
RE: BTW, I’m being discharged on Monday.
I’m so glad to hear that. Pray for your good health! BE WELL! 🙏🙏
