Bloomingdales was NEVER considered to be an "elite" department store! Until the late 1960s*, women ONLY went there to but children's shoes, maid;s uniforms, and some furniture!

Nordstroms? You might as well have said KLEIN'S BASEMENT, which I doubt you've ever heard of.

You've NEVER, by your own admission, ever been INSIDE Bergdorf's, let alone bought anything there.

I use CAPITAL LETTERS to highlight certain words/give them more emphasis. And FYI, n00b, I've been posting this way for TWENTY-FIVE YEARS HERE, so just stuff it !

Re your puerile request for me to posy a transcript of the Trump trial in Manhattan is patently ridiculous; not to mention absurd in the extreme!

If you want to see it ( which I doubt is public/available on line ), do your own scut work!

LOL...so you went to college in Manhattan, did you? WHICH ONE?

I did my graduate work at one in Manhattan, after getting my udergrad degree.

just because you claim that you "went to college in Manhattan", does NOT mean that you "KNOW" Manhattan, it's history, nor that you understand its dynamics. And that, of course, precludes your knowledge and understanding of its class system, which you do NOT know nor understand at all! But all of which I most assuredly DO know and understand!

In conlusion, I was NOT "wrong on all counts"! I was 100% correct on 98.8% of what I stated.

You really should refrain from posting on topics that you neither know anything factual about, nor understand. That way, others won't know what a fool you are.

You are a typical Trump supporter, which unfortunately is no compliment. And that’s a major reason why Trump will lose in 2024.

Addendum...

* Bloomingdales, in the late 1960s, took on the new styles faster and with more advertising, than most of the other department stores, attracted a younger crowd, and was seen as "hip"; a "HOT" place to shop.

Sadly, many of the old, elite department stores ON FIFTH AVENUE, which Bloomies is not situated on and NEVER has been ( and they weren't even ever on THE LADIES' MILE, which I'd bet good money you've never heard of, so LOOK IT UP! ), began to close their doors, because they were still attracting just their old and growing older customers.

And any for REAL Bloomie's shopper doesn't call it "Bloomingdales"! Gotcha again, n00b!

And please, do NOT in any way, attempt to 1)make an excuse 2) wriggle out of this one...you'll only lose and I'll have to give you yet another history lesson, which will be off topic and the highjacking of this thread. Which IS against FR's TOS!
