David Ruffin had a beautiful voice, but once he got into drugs, it wasn't good. The other Temptations kicked him out, and were not on good terms with him.
Yes I saw that too.
You could definitely see the change in Marvin from when he recorded those duets to what he became in the 70s.
IIRC Eddie Kendricks and David got together with Hall & Oates and did some things together in the 80s.
