This is probably a dumb question but where are we getting all the money we give to Ukraine, waste on dumb projects / other countries, and is being stoLLen by our “leaders”?
Is the US far richer than we ever knew or are we just printing money?
And if we are just printing it, why do other countries value the money we give them?
Just printing the money.
Basically, since Nixon took us off the gold standard, the printing press has had no reigns on it other than the interest rate.
The inflation we see is a direct result of the value of our money shrinking. Remember when a postage stamp was 5 cents?
The 10 cent candy bar?
3.99 per pound NY Strip steaks?
Change back from your dollar at Mickey-D’s?
All that is a result of devaluing of the dollar.
