The degree of flush is not proportional to the dose. The flush at 1 g probably won't be much more than the flush you're experiencing now. Moreover, you can expect the flush to decline with time, and most find that the flush is less intense with the GPR109 mixture.

Unlike niacinamide, niacin is liver-friendly. There is strong evidence that niacin can repair fibrosis in the liver before it becomes cirrhosis.

If that is the case, then why not skip 250mg starter and go straight to the 3g?

Would you happen to know why quercetin and C are counter-indicated for Niacin?
