They should never have given any information to law enforcement without a direct warrant for them requiring them to do so.

Showing up with a search warrant against John Smith, provides no legal, ethical or moral requirement on anyone to provide information about their sale, service or other interactions with John Smith. This company has shown it cares not about its customers privacy or constitutional rights.

When the cops show up with a warrant that requires you to turn over information, like the combination to a safe you sold, you have to comply, otherwise they should be telling LEO to come back with a warrant… and a warrant thr requires your compliance not a warrant against someone else.

DING! DING! DING!

WE HAVE A WINNER!!

Having a search warrant on Person A does not require Business B to do a dang thing! PERIOD! Liberty Safe MAY HAVE HELPED the FBI to violate this man’s 4th Amendment Rights!

Two things: 1) Unless that warrant says Business B MUST provide XYZ, that warrant is 100% as useful to Business B as USED toilet paper! 2) Unless that warrant said EXACTLY what was inside the safe that pertains to his Jan 6 involvement, then again, it doesn’t matter even if the warrant was directing Business B to comply...general warrants are ILLEGAL and should be fought tooth and nail!
