I know of four or five instances of soccer players literally dropping dead on the field long before COVID.
OK...was that over a 2 year period of time in the past...or your collective memory over a longer period of time? I am not impugning your report, but when I was playing (or at least attempting to play) football...if someone died somewhere who was a football athlete, everyone knew about it. There were very few deaths reported...everyone who went thru two a day practices (hell week) or through the well known preseason brutal practices of Bear Bryant would have seen lots of death...if it was so common...so in my mind,,, something needs to be looked into...with no prejudice..
