Personally, I like Deion, I think he’s great for college football and I’m a UF Gator Fan and he beat our ass a couple of times.
He’s will likely be a real force in college football, he will get some great players to transfer to CU and will be able to recruit a bunch more.
I would not be surprised if he competes for a national title by year 3 who knows, maybe next year.
His son is a helluva QB and will be an NFL QB in the future.
Travis Hunter was originally scheduled to sign with FSU and at the last-minute Deion snatched him away from them and he signed with Jackson State and then transferred to CU.
Hunter played both ways yesterday over 100 snaps, catching numerous passes for over 100 yards and had several pass break ups on defense along with a key interception.
CU plays Nebraska this weekend in Boulder, if they beat Nebraska which after this weekend would not be an upset, the game should be really fun to watch.
Deion’s brash ways and him thanking Jesus for everything combined with him being black is not well liked by a lot of people which is stupid, the guy is a hall of fame player and is on track to a fantastic football coach.
If Deion has a big year at Colorado he won’t be there long. One of the big power schools will snap him up.
Oh, and at least you didn’t see two CU players with the same number on the field.
On the last day of this month, Deion will learn that God is a Trojan!

The skeptic in me says it’s a long season but he’s good for college football. Remember when he wanted to be the Falcons HC? All he would do is hire an OC, DC, and a special-teams coach. Right there I though here’s another shiftless one. Didn’t get along with Jerry Rice. Paying his dues at Jackson State he’s doing it by the numbers. Looks good in a cowboy hat.
Deion runs his mouth, but he was always the hardest working player on the field, in practice, in games, in the Pros, in College. He’s kind of a hard-ass as a coach, got rid of half the players at Colorado right off the bat. Someone said he’s Mickey Andrews with a better smile (Andrews crucified slackers, and was Deion’s role model in college, and yeah, Andrews was a gator before Bowden hired him).
