I was taught that Lutherans don't believe in a rapture because of the Parable of the Tares -- Jesus said that pulling them out would damage the good wheat; i.e. minions of satan will be among us on earth until the trumpet sounds and Christ returns in glory.

We can certainly see it in the way CW2 / WW3 is being conducted. Unlike the last civil war, there is no majority on either side of a neat dividing line. We are all scattered together; and BigGov is passing all the laws it can to make sure there is no escape, no where to go.

I think if we look around at how prophecy is unfolding we won’t have very long to wait until that question is answered either way.

As for me and my household, we will continue serving the Lord and waiting for that Trumpet to sound.
