According to my NIV Study Bible the “Key of David” (Rev 3:7) refers to the Messiah, the Son of David, who holds the keys to the kingdom of heaven.
Not sure how this relates to what Just mythoughts is talking about.
Revelation 1:17-19
King James Version
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
Christ has/is the key of David! What is written about David that seems to be hidden ... Hint ... what does the name the Adam literally mean, Strong's Exhaustive Concordance
be dyed, made red ruddy
To show blood (in the face), i.e. Flush or turn rosy — be (dyed, made) red (ruddy).
How long before somebody is going to cry that is ‘racists’?
I have spent near 40 years studying ... and I did not use some primer from some denomination telling me what to think. Imagine my surprise when I read for myself Genesis, the Garden Party and it took place in a FIG grove, not one word about an apple orchard. Now what did Christ command ... learn ye the parable of the fig tree ...
yeah it is a matter of convenience.
I'm very confident it means (to him) that the small group he belongs to believes they exclusively hold the keys to prophecy and only they can understand prophecy.
