Very well then I guess I’m dog meat having missed at least one of those requirements.
Not really true if one backs up and takes a larger view.
Since the cross, countless believers have experienced martyrs deaths in assorted tribulations. They died in tribulation but not the Great One.
As we go back and forth on this thread, believers in Africa and Asia have likely been martyred. For them, tribulation came and they did not escape because the rapture is only an escape from the Great Tribulation.
The Thessalonians were under persecution and fearful that they had missed the rapture. Paul had to write a letter to them letting them know that they did not miss the rapture, they were just enduring a lesser tribulation.
Similarly, the way America is going, many who believe in the rapture may discover that tribulation has come for them but not necessarily the Great Tribulation.
Scripture indicates the rapture will happen suddenly and at any time but not necessarily in our time. Therefore, every believer must be prepared to endure whatever assorted tribulations may come along before the Big One.
