“A long term residential program is what she needs.”
Maybe. It’s clear that the long-term residential program she had for the first 16 years of her life was a failure. If parents had done their job her first TWO years this probably wouldn’t have happened.
The long term residential programs start by breaking the person down to nothing.
No money, must ask permission for anything.
Then they gradually build the person back up in a healthy way.
There is a two year residential program near me that boasts an 85% success rate. That’s really good as they work with hard core addictions.
The problem is that in many young people, the addiction has done permanent brain damage.
