The Deion Sanders era at Colorado started with a massive upset.
The Buffaloes got a late fourth-down stop with 55 seconds left to hang on for a 45-42 win over No. 17 TCU in Fort Worth on Saturday. QB Shedeur Sanders — the son of the Pro Football Hall of Famer — set the Colorado single-game record for passing yards while two-way star Travis Hunter had 11 catches as a wide receiver and an interception as a defensive back.
“I’m so thankful right now … man I’m loving these kids," Deion Sanders told Fox after the game. "Great joy for me to have this opportunity.”

Well, just about all colleges are liberal. By that standard none of us can support college sports.
But not all of them are as bad as CU.
The Sanders kid had over 500 yards after having at least three very catchable bombs dropped. The kid is the real deal.
FSU fans are all upset and want to un-retire Deion’s Number 2 because of this.

A potential upset in the making:
Texas State 42
Baylor 24
and 20 point under dogs to boot.....Dien doesnt put up with any non sense....
My ideal coach would be Bear Bryant, not some guy who looks like a pimp.
It’s a Final! Texas State beats Baylor!
I like Deion Sanders though. Maybe it's because he's closer to my generation.
If he's one of the NBA players in the league right now, I'll be like "they're ****ing morons".
It’s the Colorado Buffaloes. Also known as CU. Not UC
So Oregon had an off day
I wish my Alma Mater reversed the letters so I could tell everyone I went to FU.
Circle September 30th on the calendar: USC (6) at Colorado
Loads of Heismann candidates in that game: Caleb Williams, Shadeus Sanders, Travis Hunter
You may be right about TCU, but the fact remains that with 65 new players and 3 returnees, Colorado beat both the 21 point spread and TCU straight up.
This might be Colorado's only win {I don't know their schedule}, but yesterday's game was the most entertaining college football game I've watched in years.
That Hunter kid that plays both ways was in for over 100 plays and the heat index on the field was 108, you have got to give him a ton of credit.
I never watched a Colorado football game in my life until yesterday, but I'll eyeball them again this year.
The Bear has been dead for 40 years and hasn't coached since the 70s, and he looked like a hillbilly shitkicker in a checkered hat.
For a guy that claims to be a conservative, you are pretty damn narrow minded.
Deion wears a cowboy hat, has coached his sons since midget league football, believes in Christ and loves America, where did you get the pimp vibe?
I see said the blind man. Hope the networks take notice soon. This is a team and a coach I’d love to watch. Haven’t felt this way since Bill Walsh took over Stanford in the 70’s.
I had heard the biggest improvement from a 1 win season was a 4 win season...maybe that was with a new coach...I’m not sure.
I’d say Deion has a great shot at 5-7 or better.
True words
6-30
Colorado had only 6 penalties. Doesn't sound like a poorly disciplined team at all.
I’ll take performance over looks seven days a week.
