Most military members join for a tour or two and then continue on with the rest of their lives. What candidate would risk their lives with some bioweapon experiment for an interim step?
For those who would make a career of it, who would start down a narrow career path only to face more Pfascist diktats 3/4 of the way through where they're forced to choose between their pension or taking a bioweapon injection?
I joined in 2001. I would not join now at a similar stage in life.
