I think this just means that the DC area is not getting their “fare share” of deliveries from Texas.
As there must be a TON of empty offices from Gov emps refusing to go back to work.
I would assume there is plenty of space to house these people.
Office space? Follow NYC’s lead on the housing issue. Fill all the hotels first. It’s good for the economy! It guarantees 100% occupancy in hotels and that translates to jobs and income to a very important sector of the economy. All that we need to do to create ideal economic conditions is “rearrange” where money goes. That is optimally determined by centralized economists employed by government for the benefit of all Americans. It’s an investment that cannot afford to not make.
