President Joe Biden is asking Congress to approve $24 billion more in aid for Ukraine, which would bring the total amount of U.S. taxpayer-funded aid to Ukraine since February 2022 to $135 billion.
In contrast, Biden announced Wednesday that he would send $95 million from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to aid in rebuilding Maui after the nation’s deadliest fire in over a century, which has claimed more than 115 lives, with hundreds still unaccounted for.
The $95 million is less than one-tenth of one percent of the $135 billion that Biden is seeking to spend on aid to Ukraine in a war that has no end in sight.

To my mind, it’s rather simple. Maui has no dirt on Biden whereby to blackmail him by threatening to spill the beans if he doesn’t keep pouring million$ into their laps.
OTOH...the powers in Eukraine have all the goods on the Biden clan. They know and can prove every rotten, lowlife, corrupt thing he’s perpetrated in that neck of the woods and are holding it over his head with threats to publish it if the largesse from DC is allowed to dry up.
The other inducement for Biden to keep sending BILLION$ to Eukraine is his knowledge that, of all the billion$ he sends over there, a hefty percentage of it mystically and mysteriously finds its way BACK TO DC and winds up in the coffers of the democRAT Party. What a deal! JMHO, of course.
135 billion divided by 4.4 residents of Donbas equals 30,000 per person.
Average Ukranian income is around 3500 per year.
So it would have been much cheaper to support each unhappy resident to move and pay them 5 times to 10 times their annual salary.
I guess Maui doesn’t have any black mail documentation to deand more money like Ukraine does.
Simple answer,,,,Maui did not pay Hunter any front money.
Why send money to Maui, Hawaii is firmly on the Dem plantation. Notice Biden is going to Florida, they need to fight for FL which is not securely Red thanks to meatball not staying there and growing the party.
Sending sizable relief money to Maui?
There’d be nothing in that for Biden, the Deep State, or the Democrat party.
In the old days, a free press would have made a huge fuss over this.
But as we all know, those days are gone.

I just wish they would freaking stop comparing anything to the aid to Ukraine.
Ukraine is a real security threat to Nato and the US. Putin’s long term desire is to reconstitute the USSR. Which means, arming against the US. So this is a proxy war to drain Russia and prevent them from being a threat to anyone including their border nations. Or would everyone enjoy spending the amount needed to counter the new USSR.
Instead, what is Ukraine versus the insane woke spending including the Infrastructure Act- which was the Green New Deal. Or, their corrupt spending to their cronies. OR, on overseas cronies because of bribes. Or, turning the US into a socialist nation taking every American’s freedom away.
Just so tired of thinkning clearly among news media propaganda that push the mob line.
Obvious answer.
There’s no kick back money from Maui like there is from Ukraine.
