I almost forgot to tell you. In the "Barron Trump" series..his father came to his room and asked for his help before Barron left for another adventure of travelling. The baron said their land was dying and being over run by mice/moles and ground squirrels. So Barron has always studied animals and he knew he couldn't leave for his trip until he helped his father save their family land.
His idea for getting rid of ground squirrels was to put many marbles around their areas. At first the squirrels played with the marbles for a few days. Then they were determined to try and eat them. So they would take bites of these sharp marbles trying to get to their cores. They all were not going to give up and ate the marble down to where they had little or no teeth. So eventually they died of starvation.
