Interesting, what the different swine groups are called. Thank you for that info.
Hmmmm….that sounds like a lot of work, with their barn and fence maintenance.
We have the land….but….hmmmm….
Will they sell/ship the butchered pork? :-)
Maybe I can find a local farmer, with a nice, unjabbed saunder 😍
Fascinating story, on your lil Mangalitsa piggies. Too cute, the cow names. Ours have been Brisket, Sirloin and Ribeye.
Bob Good telling Bannon that they will meet again in a few minutes to listen to presentations by those who are running.
He said they will be voting again tonight for Speaker.
Matt is going to keep one of them (they’re all female) and breed her so they keep a constant supply of pork for themselves, my son, us and a good friend. Then the piglets that he doesn’t need, he will sell. All unjabbed, like the cows, chickens, turkeys, ducks, sheep, etc.
Jane, their shelter is just like a lean-to. I think it’s an old storage container or something. They sure don’t need a barn. Just wind protection. Plus, you don’t have to keep them long. We got them in June, and they could actually be butchered any time now....so six months.
