We mix it with wet food sometimes and it works for some of them. The others know they’re being tricked and walk away.

We have syringes (NOT with needles) we’ve saved from earlier cat meds. Sometimes we’ll use one of them and squirt it in to a “cheek pocket).

One of our gets prednisolone every 3 days, compounded in a chicken flavor base. She gets it on her wet food and she loves it. Thank Heaven. She’s squirrelly, and I’d be a shredded mess if I had to hold her and squirt it into her mouth.

Good news this morning! I put his meds in a little wet food and he ate it all! I usually just give him dry food in the morning so I’m sure after 7 days he’ll probably be demanding it, lol.
