It seems overnight Missy has had a change of heart. She no longer growls at me and she comes running over, rubbing against my legs. She does meow a lot, I love cats that talk. I don’t know what she wants though, I’ve given her wet food, treats, seems like she just wants attention.
I’ve told hubby that we should have kept the mothers from the other litters. Not the babies, they have no gratitude whatsoever. Missy’s worm medicine comes in today. I tried to tell hubby that since he’s the only one she likes he needs to give it to her. But he said that she likes me now, darn he wasn’t supposed to notice!
Lol doesn’t that just figure. Just when she becomes more maintenance, she gravitates to you! Glad she’s taken to you....I suspect she’ll be your shadow for next little while.
It sounds to me like she wants to be “made of” as we call it up here. (meaning fussed over)
He wants to be “made of” today.
If she meows and trills a lot, even when she’s been fed and is happy, is that she wants YOUR attention, CB!
And why not? She knows a sweetheart when she sees one!
I also very much like your thought of keeping the Mothers of the kittens. Kittens are much more easily adopted.
If you do, please keep the black ones! Black cats are the least lkiely to be adopted out of a litter.
I guess that’s why I am drawn to black kittens.
Is you little black baby a boy?
I would have named him Merlin!
