State Representative Justin Humphrey from District 19 in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma, has called for a thorough investigation into allegations of constitutional and civil rights violations by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).

The allegations were brought forward by 52-year-old high school history teacher, Baptist pastor, and part-time gun dealer, Russell Fincher. Mr. Fincher claims that ATF agents employed intimidation tactics and coercion to force him into surrendering his federal firearms license.

The agents’ actions resembled extortion rather than a legitimate law enforcement search. Furthermore, one agent’s statement, “Tell your firearms buddies we are coming for them,” constituted an unlawful threat and an abuse of authority.

This reporting is a little breathless, and short of details, but it is clear that the BATFE has been on a mission to eliminate the small “kitchen table” FFLs.

Not the first time. Those with longer memories will recall that the Clinton administration had a similar push, which succeeded in significantly reducing the number of smaller FFL businesses.

Elections have consequences.

The Gov is completely out of control from top to bottom. What are our elected reps doing to control this monster? Nothing!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Bad news. Those reps, with VERY few exceptions, have no intention of controlling the monster because it’s the monster that is making them wealthy. Consequently they will do nothing to anger the monster by addressing the concerns of the peasant class. Smoke and mirrors, my friend, nothing more!

why isn’t the Republican party out in the front trying to eliminate the federal department of justice and all of their minions?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>..
Let me guess: Some GOP apparatchiks are simply scared sh*tless. Others are fully supportive of DOJ terrorist tactics. And all of them have only one overriding objective: REELECTION!

The plan is to take guns from honest, non-violent citizens while deliberately leaving them in the hands of violent criminals.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Makes perfect sense: It’s much safer to confiscate the guns of law-abiding citizens. Violent criminals have been known to get violent! Leave those dudes alone!
