Hundreds braved the cold waters at the World Bog Snorkelling Championships which took place in Wales over the August Bank Holiday weekend. Competitors were dressed in all sorts of silly costumes as they tried to snorkel across a bog.
Taking place Llanwrtyd Wells, the event featured people from all over the word taking to the Waen Rhydd bog, with the gruelling Bog Triathlon, which includes an eight-mile run, a 12-mile mountain bike ride and the 60-yard bog trench.
