HA That's great! Never got a chance to be around that guy. He was one of a kind. I did get to play stage manager for George Carlin for a couple of shows. He was pretty cool. ;O)
But. I might have you beat. Got in an elevator at a hotel once with one other person already on board. I had to do a double take. The guy was a dead ringer, if not actually him, for Truman Capote, the novelist. You talk about short. I just looked him up to refresh my memory and he came in at 5'2 or 3". Which is very close to the stature I remember. His was a face that stood out in a crowd. Couldn't believe it.
