I, too, would like a PK and plenty of ammo.
You used to be able to buy spam cans with 440 7.62x54R for $79 with free shipping. My UPS man really hated it when I bought several at a time. It provided cheap plinking with a little bit of a kick with my Mosin Nagant rifles.
I save my “brass” even when they are made out of lacquered steel. I ended up with so many 7.62x54 and 7.62x39 steel cases that I bought a special tool to de-prime the berdan primers from them. Since berdan primers are almost impossible to find... after that you have to make a bushing out of 1/4” copper tubing and do a little bit of crude machine work to get the boxer primers to fit your crappy steel cases. Is it worth it? It depends on your budget and why you are doing it. If you have a PK and you go through a lot of it... maybe.
