I still kick myself for not buying a crated case of Mosins in cosmoline back when.
LOL, probably the best answer on the thread!
There are so many “wait... what?” in this article...
Was it a ten thousand to one shot or a huge parlay?
You’re right. If he stole the money from her to gamble, then all the winnings should be hers.
However, because she left the money on the shelf in his home, he could argue that he thought she left it for him.
Wouldn’t her claim be limited to the damages she suffered (that is, $10K)?
/i> I admit to being a bit of a hoarder; I sold most of them when money got tight. I kept my 3 favorites along with some spare parts. Some people don't like them, but I like that they can take a lot of abuse.
I reload cartridges with boxer primers to reduce corrosion... and I use slightly reduced charges so that my homemade lead bullets with homemade aluminum gas checks don't make a mess out of the barrels. These days it actually saves a little bit of money. But I like the original Soviet block ammo as well. The lacquered steel cases tend to get jammed in the gun easier though. Luckily, the Mosin Nagant can take a little rough handling to get them free.
Hammering on a long cleaning rod? What’s involved?
How about he marry her and she would get half?
Typically, the cartridge gets stuck when ejecting. You have to whack the bolt hard by slamming the gun bolt side down on the bench and putting some weight into it. I don’t like doing it and wouldn’t do it to any other type of gun.
