The US Open tennis tournament has begun in Queens, and one of the world’s best players will finally be allowed to compete again.
Novak Djokovic, who’s declined COVID-19 vaccination, was barred from entering the United States for nearly two years, forcing him to miss multiple major tournaments including the 2022 US Open.
Like many others, Djokovic suffered under public-health decision-making that did everything but follow the science. Joe Biden, by presidential proclamation, banned the entry of unvaccinated noncitizen air travelers into the country starting Nov. 8, 2021. Apparently unvaccinated citizens and land travelers did not pose any risk.

Djokovic just beat Alcaraz last week in the finals at Cincinnati.
He look like he was getting heat stroke then came to win.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see them in the finals again.
and he won his first round match at the US open yesterday, which means he returns to No. 1 in world rankings which I think becomes official next Monday.
I know nothing about him, but kudos for standing up to tyrany in what must have been intense unrelenting pressure

Is it really fair to let a non-vaccinated player compete against vaccinated players? Sounds to me no different than letting a tranny compete against women.
