“No man wants to raise another mans kid.”

Probably that’s the majority. But I’ve seen a few situations where the stepfather is a better parent than the bio mother, and who considers her kids his, 100%.

Interestingly, that scenario pops up in true crime relationships I’ve seen and read about. Stepdad jumps in and rescues the kids he loves from their own sociopathic mother. Real life is strange.

I have an uncle like that.   My aunt's first husband was physically abusive with her and he adopted my cousin with pride and has been the best father a man could be.   As I think back on it, a kid born in the fifties could be disciplined by a stepfather with no friction.
