Did they do a blood toxicology report??
In MA the Coroner makes the call about cause of death. If it is suspicious and/or not accidental they will do an autopsy. The tox screen takes about a month to get back.
Because it was “accidental” that stuff is all sealed and released to the investigator, the ME, and the family. It is not considered a public record.
We will never know what happened unless the family talks. And what are the chances of that?
