Definitely. I would like to get an updated booster about two weeks before going on holiday vacation.
Why two weeks?
Because this is how long it takes the immune system to analyze and prepare a defense to a pathogen. Taking a booster two weeks before going on vacation means that my antibody titers will be at their highest (and most protective) at the time I am around large numbers of people and need the protection.
Yeah, I’m a scientist. I’ve actually done research on infectious disease and vaccines. Since I understand how they “work” and I have read the medical literature on the testing and development, I absolutely have no reservations about getting vaccinated. Since scientists and physicians who understand immune function choose to get vaccinated, that should tell you something.
The reason I put “work” in quotes is because vaccines do not do anything. They are just inert substances that the immune system recognizes as foreign. Everything that happens after getting a vaccine is the work of the immune system.
I have had four doses of the original Covid vaccine (Pfizer) and one dose of the bivalent. While I felt under the weather for a day or so after the first four doses, the last dose did not cause any side effects at all.
Nope, got the 1st booster in December of 2021. Four days later my tongue began to itch. Still happens several years later.

What kind of quote is that? There are plenty of deadly diseases that people don't know they have until they are tested. Heart disease, cancer, any number of infectious diseases. If everyone can just intuitively know what disease they have and how to treat it, then why is there a medical profession?
Also, I don't know of anyone who was threatened to take a vaccine. Yes, vaccines are mandatory to attend school or work in certain professions, but being threatened? Seriously?
I had originally planned to wait maybe two or three years, but it didn't take anywhere near that long to make up my mind. No vaccines or boosters for me or my wife.
I didn't consider myself to be at significant risk from the original SARS-CoV-2, let alone the current [small cuddly feline] variants.
You might need a refresher on how MRNA “vaccines” actually “work” and then review the meaning of “inert” so you can use your newfound knowledge to rewrite your inaccurate description of what MRNA vaccines are and how they work.

Do all of the steps above sound like they are describing the actions of an "inert" substance. Of course, I spent many years as an officer in charge of a Hazmat team, so that might partially explain what the word "inert" means compared to how you perceive it.
In reality these “Covid vaccines” have likely caused more death and injury than all other vaccines in the history of vaccines. If it were not for Western media evolving into a propaganda arm for leftist causes so effective that it would make Himler himself blush... everyone would be clamoring for the heads of those who have made unimaginable amounts of money capitalizing on the death and misery of others. This entire fiasco was engineered by those who are supposedly trying to “help” others.
Perhaps you never heard of the “asymptomatic” infected coronavirus carriers, who go through the entire infection cycle, including healing, without ever noticing anything.
This is NOTHING like cancer, heart disease (which isn’t pathogen related in most instances) or other deadly diseases which EVENTUATE into serious health conditions or death.

The mRNA vaccine technology has been in development since the 1990s. Moderna has been working on an mRNA vaccine for influenza for over ten years. In addition, mRNA vaccines had been developed for SARS but not tested since SARS was eradicated before a vaccine became necessary. This is not new technology.
As for the clinical trial testing of the various Covid vaccines, they are as thoroughly tested as any other vaccine that gets regulatory approval. The pharmaceutical companies had to demonstrate to the FDA that the vaccines are safe and effective by submitting reams of data, just as they would for any other drug they are trying to bring to market. The reason the Covid vaccine testing was done in such a short time is that the Trump administration removed some of the red tape that slows down testing. Thus, researchers were able to run clinical trials concurrently when previously, they would have had to run them sequentially.
The FDA website contains letters of approval for every vaccine. These letters are quite detailed.

When charlatans create antivax misinformation, they count on the fact that the people they are targeting almost certainly will not fact-check (or even know how to fact-check). Plus, they tie the misinformation to politics in order to make their targets think that vaccination is all about governmental control rather than about public health. One of the goals of the antivax movement ever since it emerged following the smallpox vaccine rollout in 1796 is for people to die of infectious disease. They also profit from selling snake oil.
