The show from what I understand was very woke and no one watched it, so it was a money loser to them.
Even so, before the writer’s strike Amazon had okayed a second season for four episodes to finish it off.
Well they decided to cancel even that because it was expensive and they were paying this PC writing team $20 Million a year and they were not producing anything worth a damn to put on.
A lot of the streaming channels, Disney especially, are cutting back as production expenses on so many of these series are out of control and the audience isn’t watching and do not want anymore WOKE Crap to watch.
Except Disney does not hear the message at all and id doubling down on even more. The rest of the services are not that stupid and are rethinking future series and quality.
It was a Woke series on Amazon that was expensive and involved in Diversity, Ethnicity, and inclusion and Bombed Big Time!
Actually, it’s normal people who are under attack.
“A League of Their Own’ is a really great movie - family friendly, HISTORICAL”
In spite of degenerates like Madonna and fat Rosie staring in it.
My Cousin was Madonnas personal assistant during this period. (and fat Rosie’s prior) She was married during the filming of this movie which I was invited to but had a prior engagement and couldn’t attend. My Father did attend the wedding and reception and mentioned Madonna looked like she wanted to anyware but there. Whatever.
There’s no crying in baseball.
They are in way too many tv shows and commercials!!
The truth is Americans are done with being told what to do and what to say.
Yeah, because that Bezos guy is such a hardcore right winger homophobic Christian Fundamentalist, and only hires the same to run his companies.
Bingo!
in the original movie I assumed a couple of the characters were lesbian anyhow. No need to make a point of it.
