Day 546: 24 Aug
FOOLED & DESTROYED. Ukrainian STORM SHADOW Strike WIPE OUT
Russian S-400 Batteries in Crimea Russia ‘s war agenda has witnessed dramatic moments in recent days. While the news of Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin’s death following the crash of his private jet causes turmoil in Moscow, the Ukrainians do not allow the clashes to cool. While fierce clashes still continued in Zaporizhia, Dnipro and Kherson, Kiev turned its course back to the Crimea.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out an incredible offensive operation on the peninsula. While the most important air defense system of the Russians was targeted in the attack, the tension in Crimea increased significantly with the effect of the attacks a few days ago. If you remember, we witnessed the flight of Ukrainian drones in Sevastopol city of Crimea and Kerch Bridge recently.
Today, we’re going to tell you that Ukrainian forces are refocusing on Crimea, and how the Russians have buried their most important military goal in history. Here are all the real and mind-blowing details about this stunning attack in Crimea. The Rybar Telegram channel, close to the Russian General Staff and the Ministry of Defense, assured that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had already been actively monitoring military installations on Cape Tarkhankut for several weeks. According to Rybar, Ukrainian forces first launched unmanned aerial vehicles that dispersed air defense fire during the attack, and then launched three missiles, possibly anti-ship, from the sea.
Some of the Ukrainian reconnaissance aircraft, which later distracted the S-400s, were destroyed, while another part easily and unnoticed penetrated Russia’s best anti-aircraft missile system, marked the target and made it possible to hit the Russian air defense system. In the final phase of the offensive operation, Russia’s long and medium-range S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system was destroyed near the village of Olenivka on Cape Tarkhankut in Crimea. As a result of the explosion, the facility itself, the missiles and the personnel stationed on it were completely destroyed.
While this whole process was taking place, a total of seven explosions were reported in Olenivka. It’s not immediately clear where the latest system-destroying attack came from or what specific weapon was used to do it. But Olenivka is in the attack area of a long-range missile, which is in Ukraine’s arsenal. So the Storm Shadows SCALPs, supplied by the British and French to the Ukrainian army, which offer an impressive operational range of 155 miles, may have been used in this attack.
Military sources estimate that the Ukrainians fired missiles or attacked the Russian S-400 missile system and the Russian military facility in this peninsula city at least seven times with drones. In support of this data, Local Telegram channels admitted that the Russian military facility on Cape Tarkhankut was hit. In addition, Petro Andryushchenko, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, confirmed the reports that Russian S-400s and military facilities were hit. On the other hand, striking videos of the extraordinary moments of the destruction of the S-400s were shared on social media.
The first critical videos of the destruction of Russia ‘s best air defense system were reported by the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine. In the video, the S-400 missile system exploded so violently that indeed many parts of the system were scattered around. Shocking recent reports of such losses to Russia have also been published in the wake of this stunning attack in Crimea. Although Russia lost an overwhelming amount of military equipment over the course of 18 months of war, it had mostly managed to keep its precious S-400s out of harm’s way. According to the open-source intelligence site Oryx, the Moscow army had lost only three S-400 launchers and a command post for the system. However, with these latest attacks, the 4th S-400 defense system, which Russia defined as invincible, was also deleted from the war.
Ukrainian authorities also shared important assessments about this critical attack, in which the Russian Armed Forces lost the S-400 air defense system. On this issue, Andriy Yusov, the representative of the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence, stated that the destruction of this anti-aircraft missile system will cause problems for the invaders and will accelerate the liberation of the Ukrainian peninsula that Russia has annexed from its occupation. In fact, given the limited number of such systems in Russia ‘s arsenal, this can be described as a painful action against the air defense of the Russian army. Because the S-400 Triumph system is one of the most expensive weapon systems in the world.

The mysterious circumstances surrounding the downing of a plane in Moscow and the death of a top Russian figure, St. Petersburg businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin, has led to speculation about the involvement of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Many believe that Putin ordered the attack due to Prigozhin’s growing power and
influence. The incident has raised questions about the future of Putin’s regime and the
impact it will have on Russia’s military capabilities.
Former British Army Colonel Hamish de Bretton-Gordon says: “I think Putin’s really made a big mistake here, because you’ve got between 5,000 and 8,000 fighters. These are mercenaries, these Wagner people. Most of them are criminals, murderers and rapists taken out of Russian jails.”
Ruzzia lost their $200m weapon system. Maybe Putin can sell one of his superyachts and use the money for a new S-400?
